I wish I had seen this sooner. The infinity thermostat has not been great for me. I have the fancy carrier infinity thermostat. It is not worth it. I hate the controls, or lack of controls really. All devices in home work fine except the Carrier thermostat. It worked with the Carrier ver 3.61 software, but stopped communicating on any version beyond 3.61. I had to downgrade from 4.05 to 3.61 for the thermostat to work correctly.A few minutes later the system shut down again and again restarted. This happened a total of three times in one hour. I finally went to bed and it seemed to run ok during the night. I looked for a fault code in the thermostat log, and there was a UI - 160 humidity sensor fault but it was a week old.Version A vs Version B. It appears that there is actually very little difference between version A and B of the systxccitc01, systxccitw01 and systxccitn01. Main difference seems to be: Version B. I've installed a Carrier Infinity Touch SYSTXCCITC01-B with a Carrier FE4AN Fan Coil and a Bryant 280ANV Heat Pump and they all get along just fine. The Infinity controller would allow for a bit more comfort with the 3 stages of heat and it's dehumidifying capabilities. Also, if your humidifier is currently controlled by the Infinity, you might have to move it to it's own stand alone humidistat and do some re-wiring to make it work..
