At first I thought it was a remote adjustment for the coupling block 1-4 adjustments, but it totally removes the stop blocks in the rear and basically uncouples. I have 1997 Grand Touring 583 which likes to foul the PTO side plug. I'll get about 30 km on a plug. It generally tends to foul when I come to a stop and when I get back on it hard to cross a road for example I'll feel the misfire.
